WHAT WE DO:
ChaiWear specializes in clothing for the Jewish child. Our products are meant to inspire pride and joy in being Jewish. We offer infant and toddler clothing with designs for holidays and everyday.

OUR BUSINESS HISTORY:
We launched our site in August of 2001. The idea came to us after seeing all the holiday related clothing for non-Jewish children. We thought, "what about the Jewish kids who want to celebrate and "wear" their holidays too?!"

ABOUT OUR STAFF:
ChaiWear began as a one person operation by a stay-at-home mom who put her teaching career on hold to raise her children. After nearly a decade in Jewish education, she is focusing on her two sons and launching this business.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE:
Our company believes that children should have pride in who they are and their special heritage. They should be able to show off their pride and joy in fun ways. Our clothing does just that. To the best of our knowledge, no other Jewish clothing exists (aside from Chanukah items).

WHEN WE'RE OPEN FOR BUSINESS:
You may access our website and place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, or call us from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday... HOWEVER... we do not fill orders after 4:00 PM Fridays (Eastern Time Zone) and are closed on Saturdays.    Additionally, we will be closed the following dates in 2003:
Monday, September 1 -- Labor Day
Friday, September 26 -- Rosh HaShanah
Monday, October 6 -- Yom Kippur*
Thursday, November 27 -- Thanksgiving
Friday, November 28 -- Thanksgiving
Dates marked with an asterisk after them indicate that we close at 4:00 PM the day before for the Jewish holidays.

    Shipping/Handling Policy:

    We offer shipping options via the United States Postal Service (priority) and Federal Express (ground or 2-day). Basic shipping charges are $5.95 and include insurance. For express shipments, add approximately $5.00. Shipping charges are automatically added to your final bill. On orders that require multiple shipments, express shipments, international orders or those to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico you will be notified of any additional charges.

    Privacy Policy:

    ChaiWear values your privacy and respects our customers. The information we request on our web site is for our use only in order to process your order and is kept confidential. We do not sell or share our customer information and will not disclose your information to a third party (unless legally bound to do so).

    Return Policy:

    We want you to be completely satisfied and we stand behind our products. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will exchange it or refund your purchase price (less shipping and handling) if returned to us within 30 days. We ask that you please call us first so that we may better assist you with your return. Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, returns cannot be accepted within 14 days prior to a holiday or after the holiday has passed. If the fit is incorrect, we will gladly exchange it for the proper size.
